主講人簡介：倪驍然，廈門大學經(jīng)濟學院、王亞南經(jīng)濟研究院副教授、博士生導師。主要研究領域為公司金融，當前研究專長主要包括：企業(yè)利益相關者與政策評估；制度變遷與企業(yè)發(fā)展；企業(yè)信息環(huán)境。在《經(jīng)濟研究》、《管理世界》、《經(jīng)濟學（季刊）》、《金融研究》、《中國工業(yè)經(jīng)濟》、Journal of Corporate Finance、Journal of Banking and Finance等國內外重要學術期刊發(fā)表論文30余篇。入選福建省百千萬人才工程（2021）、福建省“雛鷹計劃”青年拔尖人才（2021）、廈門大學南強青年拔尖人才（2021）、福建省引進高層次人才（2018）。獲得廈門大學教學比賽理論文科組一等獎（2021）和福建省社會科學優(yōu)秀成果二等獎（2021）、洪銀興經(jīng)濟學獎（2020）等多項教學科研獎勵

講座內容簡介：Using a global dataset, we document that market-level climate vulnerability is positively associated with stock price crash risk of individual firms. We establish causality by using an instrumental variable analysis and difference-in-differences analysis. Furthermore, we show that an increase in climate vulnerability is associated with several strong determinants of stock price crashes, including dampened firm fundamentals, more aggressive bad-news hoarding, and lower institutional ownership. Our overall findings indicate that climate vulnerability can have adverse stock market consequences though a prominent de-stabilizing effect.
